The center, which began serving patients at the end of April 2024, was officially inaugurated on June 2, Founded by Dr. Maria Paola Santangelo, an Italian cardiologist, the center was created in memory of her compassionate brother, Graziano.

The Santangelo Medical Center is a newly renovated facility that was once a small first aid clinic. The center offers a range of services including general medical care, distribution of prescribed medicines, and emergency case management. It also provides medical equipment as needed and runs educational programs like first aid training and courses for family caregivers with PwD with the support of the Al Hussein Center.

By partnering with the Latin Patriarchate School, the Santangelo Medical Center has quickly become a valuable part of the Marka community. While it’s too early to measure specific outcomes, the positive feedback from local residents suggests that the center is already making a difference.
